I'm a concessionaire at an independent branded gas station. Daily, we take the total fuel sales (dollars) and subtract the Network Total (total credit card sales) from the zTape and deposit that amount to the landlord/fuel vendor as cash payouts that we owe him for cash fuel sales. Somehow, this math, now that I look at it, does not seem correct. Something is missing. Because where are MY inside sales to credit cards accounted for in all this? Don't I get credit for that? There's a manual fuel category. What is that? It appears to be total fuel dollars sold for the day. What should I look for? What do I need to test?
