Bullshit of the day: "a patent doesn't cover an idea, it covers an invention. subtle but important difference." entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

For someone that spends 5 minutes readings some patents, quickly reaches the conclusion that patents are so, but so vague, that they do not specify inventions, they specify ideas.

What I would expect a patent to be:

A system capable of tracking people in a room, comprising of cameras (multiples of three) with 4:3 aspect ratio, RGB, and some other specs. Running the pseudo algorithm in any given language: <algorithm here>. Where cameras are located using the following principles and formulas.

What patents are in reality:

A system related to software, mobile, computers, your mother, Internet, that can track people using a plethora of sensors, comprising but not limited to cameras, light sensors, shadow sensors, pressure sensor, fart sensor, but not only. Using a multitude of algorithms to track people and other objects, and eventually with the possibility of curing cancer while traveling back in time as well.

Dafuq? How can they accept patents that are so vague? What invention is that shit?

And then, you have several accepted patents describing the same vague stuff. Shouldn't they collide with each other?!

Example of two wearable patents that describe life in general, submitted by different entities that should have collided at submission:
