How to get a few useful backlinks with a low budget? earn by blogging adsense income

Hello SEO experts of reddit,

I'm running a new, small informational website about mold and how to get rid of it. Got about 15 pages with 1000-2000 words of content each. Mid to long term goal is to make some money with amazon affiliate links. (Already placed those, with 0 revenue so far.)

While I believe I did my onpage SEO fairly well, I started with 0 backlinks.

What I did so far for offpage SEO was: - registering to 3 or 4 forums or news sites with commenting enabled, and posted my URLs there, along with a brief, individual comment.

I'm motivated to do more (offpage) SEO work, but I'm kind of stuck. What else can I do?

Are websites like http://ift.tt/2zQVh9O and others who sell content/niche related backlinks worth their price?

I don't want to SPEND money monthly (and neither SPEND a lot of money once), since it would defeat the purpose of EARNING money via affiliate links.

Can I do something useful with a one-time budget of 100$ or 200$ in regards of backlinks?
