[Search Console] Getting Error when using Adress-Change Tool earn by blogging adsense income

We moved our domain from domainname.co.uk to domainname.com. We set up 301-Redirects, and both domains are registered in the Google Search Console. Now I wanted to use the Google Search Console Tool for changing the adress from co.uk to .com.

But I keep getting an error in Step 3 which says something like "Verificationmethod for the old Website is missing" - So my colleague tried to verify again with Analytics. This Verification is successful, but if we are trying to change the adress, we are still getting the error. Could the Method of using Google Analytics for Verification be our problem?
