How do we know what will sell without ending up with massive amounts of stock that wont? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Myself and my partner are looking to launch our business which is focused on selling premium ties/pock squares and other accessories.

We have reached a point where we are looking to have our goods manufactured and start selling - however with MoQs being at 50 usually and the need for variety in design and colors it will be a large outlay with no guarantee or ability to test what we can and can't sell. We have custom designs in mind but cannot obviously get product pictures with out them being already manufactured.

Has anyone encountered/ dealt with this problem before, what is the best way forward?
