Cold Calling sucks but I still did it entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

We build websites, provide graphic design (logos, fliers, etc), and offer other marketing services to businesses and man it is hard to cold call.

I just went our lead list today and a couple of people just straight up yell and hang up, but after it was over I let it go and moved on to the next one.

I just wanted to post this here to anyone who is struggling to start cold calling - each person is drastically different. Every call was a gamble, but that was a good thing. Just because Eric from Eric's Equipment was a dick doesn't mean Susie from Susie's Salon is going to be!

We went from having one occasional client to having multiple meetings a week all from cold calls - it still works! If you have a business that can cold call you should cold call.

Anyone else have any Cold Call horror stories?
