My site traffic has been slowly dropping since the March 9th Google algorithm change. (Fred) However I'm at a loss for why it is only dropping slowly rather than suddenly. After thinking about it more and digging I have found that our traffic drop is exclusive to Google. Easy enough.
But when I started digging into keywords, I found that search traffic from Google was dropping for some keywords, despite our keyword ranking not having changed. I don't really understand why that would happen. Anyone have any ideas? I can't find any keywords for which we dropped really. But traffic is way down from Google for many (but definitely not all) keywords.
Most pages are seeing a 20% drop in traffic, yet the Google ranking for those pages is unchanged.
