Hi all, in my 30s and have had the entrepreneurial itch for many years. To that end, I save money each month to do something entrepreneurial (currently at just $10k but I could grow it faster). I still dream of pursuing my big ideas someday, but I'm too tempted now by the gilded cage of a generous white collar salary - and I'm risk averse since we have a kid on the way. Ergo, I'm looking more for a passive or investor role than a "second job" kind of role.
QUESTION Wondering how you would spend $10k to have another iron in the fire (i.e. Plan B)? Or would you save more to invest in X?
For context, I have an emergency fund, am doing well in stocks (index + industry funds I know well), have $50k in student debt I'm aggressively paying off, and am saving for a rental property to buy next year in our home NW market. Just looking for something else to scratch the itch.
