Will working at a marketing agency help me acquire valuable business skills? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

My business skills and knowledge at the moment are very limited. I'm studying human nutrition at the moment and I'm trying to juggle this with learning about starting my own business (not necessarily related to food). Following the advice of others I decided to pick up a job that could teach me skills that will be valuable for starting my own business.

I got a job offer at a marketing agency that acts as a external marketing department, working with companies that are still too small to have their own, but large enough that they need good marketing. I'd be working as an assistant/junior position as I don't have any prior experience/education on the subject.

I wanted to know what you guys think, if this is an offer I should take up or rather aim for joining a startup company or starting something of my own right away.
