This is a question more than a statement. I've been reading what seems to be an exhaustive account of everything I can do wrong with emailing marketing. Sadly though, I can't find an answer to what's topical to my situation.
I bought another brand and brought them under the umbrella of my own. I've rebranded said brand. When I acquired this brand I acquired their extensive mailing list. Is it fine for me to send a mass email to this mailing list regarding the change in ownership? Or is that not permitted as I wasn't the original party to whom they provided their email addresses?
