Hey there. Myself and some friends for the past few weeks have been flushing out an idea we developed. It's a fun, very marketable stocking stuffer. We've got the design and manufacturer lined up, but now we want to raise money to make the vision a reality.
The concern is, it has a bit of a political slant. Due to the current political climate, there is a bit of fear amongst the group of being doxed. As such, we'd like to run our kickstarter anonymously. However, I completely understand why individuals may be a bit reticent about contributing to a campaign which is run by anonymous individuals. We've created a sole proprietorship, which we would use as the face of the campaign... but we definitely feel that people are looking for a more personable persona behind the initiative. I myself have only contributed to a single Kickstarter campaign and it ended up being a scam. I've been less than trustworthy ever since, so I can completely sympathize with the mindset.
Does anyone have any suggestions that we might be able to employee to either make us more accessible or trustworthy, without revealing our identities? Thanks for your time, happy to answer any questions.
