Does this business model work? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hi Redditpreneurs,

So I have an idea for a future business model that I imagine is out there and maybe you guys and gals have some insight. To test products, alongside or instead of just throwing it out there to see what bites. Can we ask followers and customers which one they want on the store? Like have a say into what goes into my store by choosing x, y or z products? Along with testing I feel like this would hone down what works and what doesn't faster. I could be wrong and that's why I am ask y'all. I feel like the element of surprise goes away, but do people necessarily want that?
