I posted a gif that shows an evolution of an ape turning into a white dude. I am not the one who created the gif. I just downloaded it and wrote a text on top of it using Photoshop: "Nothing is Constant".
Then I posted on FB and wrote under it: "In every moment things change, so is investing". (We are building an app that lets you invest with friends). We are changing the way people invest.
We boosted it with $7 and within half an hour, it reached 13k+ in views. People started sharing, liking. But the comments were bad saying: "You are racist, I am not evolved from monkey, religion does teach us that way etc".
Then I went to our google analytics and traffic was huge but no conversion.
I am wondering if bad publicity can affect us negatively and wanted to ask people here, maybe some of you who had the same situations.
Our current goal is to get people signed up to the website waitlist since we are at pre-launch stage. That's why we are active on social media.
