Hi all,
For the last couple of years, I’ve been tinkering with a web app, Klepit, to save and file informative web content creating a personal knowledge base. After a fair bit of feedback, I’m about ready to put out the official version 1.0 and it’d be great to hear any feedback anyone else has.
Prior, I had used the usual suspects, Evernote, Onenote, email and word docs for this purpose but found the limited levels and display options hindered me in curating and making the content useful. I built Klepit with uncapped levels of topics which also act as boards. You can save links, edit their content, write notes with content on the same screen, highlight, annotate etc. You can view all your notes on one topic in one feed which is useful if you want to quickly refresh on a topic.
The app also suggests content to you that you might want to keep based on a number of variables (keyword combination, popularity etc). As you add more links to a topic the algorithm gets better at suggesting content you might find interesting.
So far it has seemed to resonate with students and those engaging in self-directed learning.
If it sounds interesting to you, check it out and please give me any feedback you might have.
Thanks for reading :)
