Is this a scam (Alibaba Supplier) ? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hey guys,

I'm starting up a distribution business in my area, and I'm highly interested in distributing battery powered Ride on Cars. I found a supplier on the site "Alibaba" which sells this type of toy at a fairly decent price. However, there are a few concerns that are bugging me and I'm beginning to think that I may get scammed.

1) The specifications listen on Alibaba are not the same specified in the private messages we've been having. (Things like dimensions, weight, speed, battery are all different than advertised)

2) I asked for a sample product to purchase so I could check it out to see if I like it or not, and I was told they do not send "single packages by air because it has a battery". To me this didn't make sense but I'll go along with it, even though I offered to pay full price.

3) The title of the Alibaba post itself says the toy is 24V when in actual fact its 12V (confirmed from supplier). You'd think they would at least get the title right?

4) Alibaba is known to have scammers, even if they are "gold" suppliers.

I'm worried about this because the minimum purchase order is 1000$, and I would not like to lose that type of money over a scam. The link to the Alibaba post is shown below. Can someone please tell me if this company is legitimate or not, and I will not get scammed when making my order? Thanks!
