Patterns that start-ups have in common which I took some notes on entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hey guys so here's a list of trends I've seen in over 50 businesses and I've condensed them down to bite size points, you can take any of these as a prompts to get the ball rolling and get a perspective on how to pursue/improve your own business :)

• Review service for what other people are thinking: Experience value VS Initial Costs to Experience level (GlassDoor, Yelp, ProductHunt

• Curation into the feed, community can upvote things they like

• Antiquated home devices (thermostats, toilets, vents)

• Antiquated Methods: Battery Recycling, shoe recycling, food drives, wasted food from restaurants

• Too many middlemen to accomplish a simple service (Youtube: Video converters, emailing, formating files)

• (dropBox: Compressing a file, uploading, encoding file type)

• Spend a lot of time on: Social media, playing video games, online courses, sleeping, eating, sex, brushing teeth, showering [human needs] etc. Can any of these experiences be improved? + “The long way is actually faster” (The pirated product was better than the one you buy (spotify) buying a printer is cheaper than new ink cartridges

• Comic books? +Make a Twitter/Hipster version of ____ (Medium, RobinHood

• “Popular categories/hashtags on Youtube/Tumblr/Instagram/“ or “Most watched videos on Youtube, most likes photos on instagram” Etc. Use other platforms as a data gathering resource to study the fanatics of ___ niche. Now just find a new sharing/unexplored sharing platform to host your dissemination of this info to likeminded (Podcasting, Youtubing, Blogging, Books, Comics etc)
• Becoming a platform for ___ content (iTunes, Soundcloud, Spotify, Youtube, Vimeo, Flickr, Imgur, Reviews - Yelp, GlassDoor, foodReviews, ProductHunt)
• Becoming a catalyst middleman and making royalties (Uber, uber eats, TaskRabbit, Patreon, etc)
• + Elitism (Soundcloud PRO, Paid membership perks) + Crowdfunding + Competitive offer incentives

- + Catering to a niche’s product interests and thus being a platform for them to sell (Zillow [pricing/real estate] Orchard (phones and tech),

• Afterwards: Send a fan letter to ____ saying you love what they’ve done and you inspired them maybe u get in lol Either be a Personality or a Host
• Personality: Podcasters, content creators, musicians, artists and thus stem a business from the niche you’ve carved
• Host: Start from scratch as a member/consumer of ___ niche and develop a product that improves ___ for others in this niche (99 Designs, Etsy,
