Selling own products on Amazon. Looking for advice. entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

I have an investment in an Australian made-to-order furniture company that has had reasonable success selling via its own website.

However the way forward is to create a range of standardized products that can be sold at higher volumes.

I’m after some advice in regards to selling via Amazon in the USA.

The issue is that the products are currently made in Australia and shipping them individually to the USA or in small quantities is not viable due to costs.

The minimum would be a 20ft container but that will mean we have a signified amount of capital invested in finish products with absolutely no idea if it will sell in the USA.

Is it possible to get some insights into how much volume is sold daily on a particular category?

Can we list the products to test demand over a week or two and establish some rough sales numbers. We then ship them from Australia at a loss or refund customers?
