Changing Directions! Graphic Design, Marketing to a new Audience! entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Introduction

I own a graphic design company, recently we have been catering to very low end consumers from the $20-80 range. We are planning to make a big change and cater to consumers in the $100-1000 range. I got some questions and i want some opinions!

Rebranding

Do you feel that a company that has been catering to a different audience and has a small following should rebrand to cater to a new audience?

Social Media

On our Twitter and Instagram we have been specifically focusing on audiences that arent large enough to purchase from our new range. Advertising our quality of work despite the low prices. How should we announce our change of audience and attract their attention through social media.

Advertising

We haven't catered to this audience before, and honestly don't really have any idea how too! What do people in this price range look for? What platforms should we use to cater to them? What subreddits should we use to find people who would be interested in us?

Adverting Pt.2

How can we cater our website to a higher end audience? How can we optimize our website to be found by people in this price range. Is Google Adwords a viable option to find people in this price range?

Trust

How can we convince a higher end client into buying from us. We have a portfolio with lots of work however nothing really high end and we lack larger contacts that can vouch for us?

Checkout

Currently we do all of our transactions through Stripe, Would that be suitable for a higher end client? We also use a email newsletter, is it classy to have higher end clients sign up for it?

Packages

What would you suggest we include in our packages, or should we have them at all? For example we currently have a package with just a logo, is that suitable to have? If we were to have packages what should we price them at?

Designers

We currently have a design team that is payed a percentage of the revenue from a sale. Currently the share is 60% to Designers 40% to the rest of the business. We also allow our Designers to freelance on the side, are their any negatives to allowing that?

Programs

Are their any programs we should show about to help keep us organized and provide a better experience to the consumers?

Client-Designer Communication

How should we have our client and designer communicate with eachother? Is e-mail suitable or are thier any other apps we should use?

Closing

I really appreciate any advice or conversation this sparks. I love the Entrepreneur Community! Hopefully this can not only help me but also those in my industry!
