I started using HubSpot a year ago to keep tabs on sales and clients. It's proven to be very convenient and useful. One of my favorite things it can do with it is remind myself when the last point of contact was. That way I keep clients I already have happy and engaged by getting in touch every now and then.
It's also, of course, handy to keep track of cold calls to acquire new clients. I don't have to mess around with spreadsheets anymore.
Best part, it's free to use. You don't get all the advanced features like automation, but the free tier is still a powerful and complete CRM solution. Once you need the paid tier, you're at the point of making serious money. I'm also experimenting with the sales hub module that tracks and engages website visitors.
