My meta description won't change, need help earn by blogging adsense income

(I used Wordpress) Like the title says; a while ago I put in a meta description but I've tried to change it now and it won't work. I've used multiple SEO plugins, (currently yoast) I change the description under ”pages” when you scroll down. However, if I google my website it doesn't change, how come this happens? How can I change it?
