SEO Tip - Collapse or Expand Blog Post Content earn by blogging adsense income

Looking for quick advice that I can't find anywhere and pretty I'm sure it's significant for SEO purposes.

I have a consulting website & the blog page is the default homepage.

I know that performance is important for SEO.

If my blog page is never-ending but I don't yet want to introduce ~20 posts per page, should I...

1. "Collapse" the blog posts which would show them a title & a short excerpt & require them to click 'Read More' or something to open the full post
2. Leave it as-is which is basically one super long blog page that lists all titles & content...
