If your reading this on Earth the number and volume of Space Junk orbiting your planet may prevent you and/or your fellow lifeforms participating in space development/mining/tourism. the amount of Junk is increasing, rapidly. Sooner or later there will be serious carnage due to space Junk collisions. This seems like a problem worth solving.... I think the collective entrepreneurial spirit of this subreddit might be able to find a solution or many solutions. It costs Something like ＄22,000 to shoot a kg of anything into orbit. Considering there is 100,000s kgs of stuff already up there and just floating around, free for anyone to collect... Could we (we = everyone on reddit, ever), even profit from harvesting the junk and recycling it in-situ and using it for Something awesome?
