How can a college student go from idea to reality? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Background information:

Alright so I'm currently a college student in an above average business school, with one of my focuses being marketing (That's not to sound cocky, it's just to eliminate any questions haha). I've recently started toying with the idea of starting my own marketing firm in a few years. I've always dreamt of creating and running my own business of some sort, and it's recently become clear that building interest and connection is something I can see myself doing forever.

I have a few questions that hopefully some of you could answer:

-Is the marketing field too saturated to even set such a goal for myself?

-If I do decide to follow through with the idea, what steps can I take now to best position myself for success in the future?

-Are there any words of advice that anyone is willing to share with me on the subject? (I'm open and grateful to all advice.)
