There a number of remote companies that are creating some awesome products out there. Going remote gives you many advantages. You can hire the best people out there, without being restricted by location. You are not investing resources in building offices and having a central physical presence with fancy fridges and break rooms. You give people the space to work from whatever environment they are comfortable in and hence, get better output in work.
But there are also challenges that come with building a remote company. Collaboration is one of the biggest. Dealing with remote customers or clients is another. Remote isn't suited for everyone and every team either.
