Hello,
I'm an engineer who is trying to market/explain a concept that is hard for people to visualize without a video or animation. The problem is that I need to get them interested in order to convince to watch the animation. So, using words, I need to be able to explain something that is very spatial/abstract in a coherent way.
Does anyone have advice on how to do this?
The most succinct explanation I've come up with is to explain is as a roller coaster vehicles, that has the maneuverability of a helicopter. In other words, while following the path of the track, the vehicle can roll pitch and yaw independently of the track itself.
For example, while moving along the track, the vehicle can smoothly switch from one configuration to another, such that the line of sight of the riders is constantly changing with respect to the direction of motion.
What I really want people to take from this, is an idea of what it would be like to ride this thing. I want them to visualize it doing things like accelerating forward, then dropping backwards, and then curving out of the drop sideways.
If anyone has any critiques of my verbiage, I'd be greatful.
