Where do you go to"network"? What works for you? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

I know this can be location dependent, but I feel networking is a lot like dating... I don't want to go to a bar every night but I also don't want to waste a lot of money on morning weekly groups if they don't work. I would love to hear from you what has worked for you (and would like to know what field you're in as well as your location if you're willing to share). Thank you!
