Hi all. Thanks for all of your info and I appreciate you taking the time to read this. My wife holds a license to run and operate amusement machines under her own LLC. These machines are bought by us and placed in locations by us and if need be serviced by us. I left my job earlier this year to pursue this and have not yet established myself as anything. My question is should I become her employer or start my own LLC and "contract" the work? I'm trying to read the benefits of each and most articles compare employment benefits as if I worked for a large corporation. As her employee I wouldn't have health or vacation or the other "perks" of employment. As an LLC I can write off tools and travel and parts of my vehicle. Also it'll be nice having something of my own. But taxes are what makes our accountant think I should go the employee route. Thanks again for your time and help.
