I started dropshiping 2 month ago: My results entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

7 weeks ago I started getting interest about dropshiping. I scrolled through Reddit, FB groups & Youtube, learning everything I could, then, I decided to start.

I had a really low budget (~200€), but I saw some guys doing well with 100 bucks so, I told myself "fuck it, let's do it". I decided to sell sea-themed bracelets.

1st month was learning and creating the website, basically

2nd month was trying to sell with FB

• I made a 1st campaign, that failed miserabilly. I just put pictures of my products + some text and put it on Facebook Ads. I diden't knowed a lot about the process of making an Ad, so I basically I spend 8€ to learn that letting facebook choose my ad placements was a bad idea.

• Then, i made a 2nd campaign, with a free + shipping product. I build a landing page especialy for this. So, i had fresh ad design, new landing page, damn, the world was going to be mine soon.

Last week, I sold 2 "free" bracelets (I charged for 6€ shipping) for a total of 62€ spend in ads.

Costs:

• 30€ shopify
• 12€ domain
• 62€ ad
• 10€ samples from ali

TOTAL: 114€ spend

I don't feel like I've learned a lot, I feel like I should have planed more instead...

Anyway, here are my (biggest) mistake so far:

• Selling a product for no rational reason, I choose those bracelets for... well, actually I don't know, I saw that a similar product was doing well so, "hey, why not give a try". I should have picked a niche that have specific needs.
• Not trying influencers
• Not spending enough time to search how to make a good ad copy
• Not having a mentor who've already done this before to learn me the process

CONCLUSION: Not everybody win, it seem so easy when you see success from outside (especialy from those "just hustle bruh" guys) , but it's way harder that you can even imagine, but hey, give a try, you might be a winner.

(I haven't stoped the bracelet project yet, I really love doing this but... I don't know if I should, I'll try one last campaign this week)
