I have been working in Investment Banking for just over 1.5 years and have gained a full range of skills on Excel and Powerpoint. I can write VBA and automate just about any back office process. I was wondering if these skills are only useful as an employee, or if there are entrepreneurial opportunities for someone with a deep understanding of these things. Generally, you need deep industry connections to start a consulting, or m&a business. What else is out there for someone with this skill-set?
