A co-worker and I are thinking of starting a bar/pizzaria. My wife has 15 years experience in supporting the opening of various chain pizza establishments at her old job, so we have pretty good handle on the regulations and expenses as well as what to expect for cash flow in various areas.
That being said none of us have experience starting our own business. Is a business plan really the best way to approach this? The funding is covered we are just trying to figure out the logistics. We are software devs and a project manager. This is more of an exercise in understanding the ins and put of starting a business and maybe a small side hustle, maybe more if things go well.
Any advice?
