How does a business like WonderDads.com start? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

I came across this business today and was wondering; how do you even start something like this?

Say I have a similar idea; MagicMoms. I gather and curate a list of mommy related things, maybe put together a list of infant products, do a weekly coupon special for places like BabyGap. Now what? Where do I go from here? How do I acquire my first customer? My first 100? First 1000?
