How many hoops will I have to jump through to make this a reality? I'd like to get into some type of sales, but I don't even have a product yet. I guess copyright infringement doesn't protect as far as I thought, because at the pizza place I work (big, established company) they just buy chocolate frosting in bulk and put it into little cups and sell those for 89¢. I also saw a post on Reddit (motor sports company) that said he just bought motorbikes from overseas and resold them in the US. I didn't think you could do that, so can someone please shed some knowledge on what you can and can't do when using/selling other company's products? Do you have to alter it in some way to make it your own product? What can this entail, and how slimy can someone legally be about it (like adding a sticker to a motorbike, or repackaging frosting).
