Any start-up alternative review sites to Yelp entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Yelp is garbage. It's garbage for the consumer.

As a consumer you want to protect yourself. There are dozens and dozens of businesses out there and most of them won't cause you harm and some are better than others.

But, since Yelp allows businesses to hide their bad reviews the consumers can't rely on the site to notify them when a dangerous organization is in operation.

This is bad for the consumer, and dangerous.

Is there an alternative? I am sure there are business models that are possible that maintain the integrity of a review site and serve business and consumers alike.

Yelp is not that service.
