Switching to an SSL earn by blogging adsense income

I know, I know, I’m late to the party.

Anyway, 3 of my websites needs and SSL. Not because they handle sensitive information, but because I got access to Let’s Encrypt, and google supposedly factor in SSL.

So, if I add an ssl to these sites, will I screw up my rankings? Given that http and https is not the same URL-wise.

Please advise me in this matter, I can’t find a reliable answer.
