I was wondering if people here apply any pyschological twists to improve their sales?
I am referring to things like: offering product A for $50, product B for $100 and combination of A+B together for $100.
I know "The Economist" magazine did that with their hardcopy and digital subscription.
Supposedly this makes option A+B look cheaper and lures potential customers to spend more.
Other examples could be offering free delivery while the costs for mailing are implied in the product. (People love free stuff)
Was just wondering if anyone has (applied) other examples and what experiences you made with such techniques.... Leaving ethical considerations aside.
