Hey everyone. I am studying to become a therapist, but I also am interested in becoming a hair stylist. I've had several people suggest that I combine the two into one job, where I can offer therapy during hair styling sessions. I think this could work by me renting out a private space, but I'm not sure how I'd be able to market this and if there would be any ethical dilemmas. I don't think there would be any ethical problems as I wouldn't be "touching" the clients in any inappropriate ways (there are psychoanalysts and emdr specialists who touch the clients as well) and I would have the proper consenting paperwork signed beforehand. My only concern is if I am not thinking of potential issues and how I could market this in a way that would make sense to people who have never heard of it. My target audience for therapy is young women so I think my clientel would work out well, but I'm unfamiliar with business in general so I'm open to any advice and suggestions. Thanks!
tl;dr Studying to become a therapist. Interested in doing hair. Thinking of combining the two into one business, but don't know about how I'd get this idea to come to fruition.
