Does the domain.com backlink hold the same value as the www.domain.com if the website has 301 redirect to www. version? earn by blogging adsense income

Hello,

I'm new to this and currently I'm in the process of deciding with which version of the website (www or not) I should stick with.

I'm leaning towards WWW since I may use a subdomain in the future, but my website definitely looks better without WWW.

So my question is if I set up a 301 redirect to WWW version and then I or someone else creates a backlink to "naked" version (domain.com) will it have the same value as WWW version (www.domain.com)?

Also if most of the people will type in their browsers the "naked" version (domain.com) is it going to affect website rankings in any way?
