Question about Blogs on Medium banklinking to my website earn by blogging adsense income

I've a website and I'm wondering what is the better option to reach more people. Should I publish my blogs on my own website or should I publish them on Medium with a link to my website? And would it be possible to publish blogs on both sites or is it not recommended?
