Do you guys see any value in "editorial links"? earn by blogging adsense income

Been getting bombarded with requests from vendors of these kinds of links.

Essentially a site owner/webmaster goes into an old post or page on their site, drops in a link, and get paid a small/decent amount for their 2 minutes of work.

Do white hats have any ethical problems with this outside of any "link building" being against Google's guidelines?

Would these be effective at all in low comp industries?
