How to make new links look natural. earn by blogging adsense income

Does anyone have a good guide or article on how to make backlinking look natural?

For example, I just publish an article today and I know I can get a couple quality backlinks to it very quickly. Should I wait a week or two before getting a backlink to the article? My thought is that if the article gets two or three backlinks in the first couple days it would look unnatural.

I did read post where they said they work on social signals for a week or two, then get backlinks to an article.
