Hello SEOs!
I am a SEO consultant in need to set a process to manage the image compression for my client's website.
This client has a marketing agency on one side, who produces the images, an in-house marketing team that approves the images proposed by the agency and finally the developer who uploads it to the server.
We do not use a CDN so automated tools are a bit harder to set up.
I need to recommend a lean process for the image compression to work. My initial thought was that the marketing agency should compress all the images before sending them, but with the current tools that I found online there was no way to trace if the images were indeed compressed, correct?
Is there any tool that lets you compress and save images on the cloud? This would help me telling the marketing agency to upload (and compress at the same time) and then the other departments to download them straight from the tool.
If there is no such tool, anyone has experience with this process?
Thanks!
