Should I 301 links on my site to new pages? earn by blogging adsense income

Weird situation. Our website doesn't have a menu we can access. Whole sections of the pages we're unable to edit.

Some of these pages have links on to pages I've recreated. I DO have access to the .htaccess file, so should I 301 these old links I can't edit, to go to the new updated pages on the website?

Is this a terrible idea?
