"My favorite place to advertise are on email newsletters. CPCs are low and visitors are qualified." - Sujan Patel entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

(this is a crosspost between /r/startups, /r/marketing and here. I hope that's alright)

Following the tweet from Sujan Patel:

I couldn't agree more with him!

I believe that newsletters are the perfect place to be when advertising your service/product because you can select in which newsletters to participate, and the cost to advertise is tied to the number of subscribers+click rates. This gives you the possibility to select the best appropriate(s) newsletter(s) based on your budget.

Moreover, it has been proven that email is still a great medium to convert ideas, and putting your ads on newsletters increase your chances of getting leads for that niche.

For that matter, I built Sponsored.tech. It's a directory of newsletters you can reach for advertising in your specific niche.

I built it following that idea that newsletters are the perfect place for ads. I emphasized the "Cost per lead" for each newsletter (when the price is available) to help an advertiser find the best ROI possible.

I'd be curious to know if you share the same opinion regarding ads on newsletters, what do you think?
