Question about Doing Business As (DBA) with a common name variation entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

My name is Rebecca Jackson (it's not) and I am the sole proprietor of my massage therapy practice (that is true). My legal business name is Rebecca Jackson LMT, but I commonly go by Becca. Can I market and present myself as Becca Jackson LMT without filing a DMA since it is a common name variation and synonymous with Rebecca, or does any variation from the legal name require a DMA?
