Hello Entrepreneur! I need some advice, and can't think of a better sub-reddit to ask. A quick backstory, I'm a student, majoring in computer science, and after two years (got two more to go), I've been thinking a lot about wanting to be my own boss, wanting to do my own thing instead of falling victim to the 9-5 lifestyle.
4 months ago I started doing YouTube, and today I sit with over 70k subscribers, and about two million views a month. It's bringing in decent revenue (should be better, but considering around 50% of my market is in latin america, my cpm/rpm is bad).
I've always loved fashion, and it's always been a dream to one day start a business revolving around clothes. Now that I have this market, I wanna test the waters, and market heavy on all my social media platforms; however, I just don't know where to begin at all.
Should I outsource and try to find decent quality t shirts for cheap from china? Is american apparel a better way to start? Though I plan on selling all types of clothes, I primarily wanna test the waters with T-shirts. Should I create my own site to market my product? Or let a site like amazon handle everything including fulfillment? I have so many crazy designs I want to make, custom T-shirts how do I go about doing that? Best way to print designs on a T-shirt? Have so many questions but don't know how to proceed.
How did you start, what's your advice for someone like me trying jump into this world of entrepreneurship? What was the hardest thing for you? Sorry for all the questions.
