Hello! I'm currently in the middle of creating my own brand of watches through a supplier on Alibaba. Without getting into too much detail about the watches, they are essentially luxury style watches at a cheaper cost (think MVMT). Now I know MVMT isn't exactly everyone's cup of tea for watches but you can't deny their massive success.
I've already purchased my domain name, talked to a few dozen suppliers, narrowed one down and paid the money for my samples to get made, which came to $500USD. I'm going to start off with 5 watches in my first collection. I've already confirmed the designs with the manufacturer and they're making them right now, I'm really excited!
My plan was to create an Indiegogo/Kickstarter type campaign once I receive the samples and I'm able to get professional photos/videos taken etc. But before doing that, I'd like to make a landing page and collect emails from people who are interested in knowing when the campaign is going launch so they can back me.
My question for you is, what should I be doing right now? What are my next steps? How can I make this/my campaign a successful one? Right now I'm currently just waiting to receive my samples. I don't know how I'd build an email list or build interest with the limited information I have on the watches, considering I don't physically have them with me yet.
