I've built a movie recommender system which delivers suggestions based on the mood of a specific user. You can check it out here!. So far it is only a project for my master thesis and it has only a scientifical focus. But now I was thinking about possible ways to monetize it. I thought already about affiliate programs, onsite advertisement and selling the anonymized data. Do you have other ideas?
