I am very curious about this, how do companies/websites who list luxury items like private jets, yachts, cars (selling / renting) make their money via website?
Do they have a members area that people pay a massive monthly fee ($1000+) for access? If they make money from selling a yacht and getting 1%.. couldn't the two buyers just find each other and talk privately to make a sale therefore that 1% commission doesn't go to the company.
Let me know your thoughts on this topic.
