I wanted to get an idea of sentiment in the reddit community on the current free stock image sites out there. Who would be interested in something similar to Unsplash, but more targeted towards commercial industries?
So for example, if you are building a site for an AC repair company you have the typical photos from iStock, free images from sites like Unsplash, or you can go out and take photos yourself.
What if there was a 3rd option where you could get nice high quality pics for free from a site that catered more towards web designers and actual commercial and industrial industries that hire designers and developers? Do you see a need for this, or does what is offered on the market now seem sufficient?
I would love to get feedback! I am working on creating just this and would love to gauge demand.
