Hey guys, so me and my boss where looking at one of the websites we are working on, and we decided to check out what google was currently seeing. So we go find the cached version of the homepage and see it was last searched on May 29th (yesterday). We went to another page of that same site, and found the last search date to be May 22nd, a week earlier. How can a portion of a site be scanned by Google but not other ones? I always thought google would need to scan a page to make sure the content your looking for ISN'T there, so it can make sure it doesn't include that page in a search result.
am I wrong, does Google only search parts of your site?
thank you for any insight. This isn't something urgent, we we're both just curious.
